"We stayed at Crown Reef Resort for four days, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. The biggest issue was the pools. They were absolutely filthy—very cloudy with debris floating everywhere. We found fake eyelashes, hair and press on nails on the bottom of the floor, KitKat wrappers, and other trash in the water. It was honestly disgusting and looked like the pools hadn’t been properly cleaned or shocked in a long time. The rooms were small and in desperate need of updating....

"Location and rooms were very clean. The pool and common areas need some remodeling. Breakfast area was not great. I would stay here as my main concern with hotels is clean rooms. These were very nice."

"The staff was very friendly. The room was spacious and clean. The only negatives were that the ceiling in our room was coming apart looked horrible. One of the lights were broken as well. We did find a cockroach in our bed also but only 1 and no bedbugs luckily. We would stay again as it’s a close walk to the beach and pier."

"The stay was fine, I felt like the staff could be a little more friendlier, The facility was cleaned but not deep cleaned. The hot tub was down our entire stay. It seems like the staff needs a stronger manager to prod them along and keep them on task which could help in all areas of the operation. Location was great a lot of barking dogs which is not great on my part I think you should not take pets on vacation. It wasn’t terrible but plenty room for improvement."

"Would definitely stay again. Check in was quick. Staff great. Location was great! The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Probably go a little earlier in the season. Beach was pretty crowded. Damon’s restaurant is within walking distance and very delicious food."

"Our room was fantastic exactly what I booked. Beautiful oceanfront room. Continental breakfast was good and different options. Would definitely stay here again! All staff was very nice"

"Our room was in much need of complete refurbishing. The stove was very dirty around knows. Dishes were very old and no organizing. The floor had grim and dirt between tiles. Bathtub ...So much soap grime you could scratch your name in it. Our beach view was great. The elderly lady at the desk was very nice. We did not complain to the staff but I do feel management should look behind their housekeeping staff because they are taking shortcuts."

"When we initially checked in we were assigned a room on the first floor which smelled strongly of mold & mildew and had two queens eventhough I paid for a king. "D" at the front desk told us she never uses the rooms in that particular corridor unless the hotel is completely sold out because they are just too close to the water. I know a lot of hotels give people that book through Expedia less desirable rooms, and this is one of those hotels. D was gracious and friendly, she promptly gave us...

"The unit sleeps 6. With a king bed in the bedroom, a Murphy bed, and a pull out couch. The kitchen had a full size refrigerator, a mini dishwasher, and a stove. The cabinets are old, they need to be cleaned. The bathroom is roomy. The tub is big, however there are no grab bars for safety. The air conditioner died on us. "Wonderful stay! Both of the front desk administrators were very kind and extremely friendly. Our room was very clean and had a great view. A little loud when motorcycles or cars played loud music, but it's summertime and expected...otherwise very pleasant. Great location, very walkable, safe parking, and an overall great stay. We will be back!"

"Grand Atlantic Ocean Resort was amazing! The staff greeted us with smiles and were very helpful with answering questions and getting us into our condo. My family and I enjoyed how clean and spacious the condo was. "The property is pretty average , it's a bit of a ways from the bustling downtown so you definitely need a car. Breakfast was good , average and pretty standard."
