"Elsa's is a wonderful place to stay if you are traveling to Prospect Harbor. It is a quaint building with beautiful rooms. But what made our stay spectacular was Gail. She is absolutely amazing. She gave us lots of great ideas about sites to see during our visit. She makes delicious breakfasts. And she's just so much fun to talk to. We wanted to bring her home with us! We will definitely come back for another stay as soon as possible."

"Okay people are dramatic. It's not that bad. I booked this place last minute on the 4th of July for $120 after fees. I was reading reviews and you'd think this place would be a blood stained rat infested shole. Nope it was a basic motel with all you need. Yes the rooms are small, yes the shower is small. I'm 6 foot 2 175 pounds and fit just fine in the shower so unless you are a fat slob you will be okay. Cold AC, hotel shower, 200 channels, and an alright CLEAN bed. You people are so dramatic....

"The location was alright. The room was outdated. The bathroom had rust on the heating unit. The cleaning lady did a nice job with what she had to work with. There seem to have a problem with the septic system for the flush didn’t always flush good.When the room was booked it said the pool would be open for the season 2026. When we arrived for a long weekend for July 4th the pool was closed and stayed closed until the last afternoon we were there. It was in the 90’s every day. The air...

"Our stay at the Cleftstone was wonderful. This inn made us feel like we stepped back in time when we arrived. The architecture was so cute inside and out. The staff was very kind and accommodating- though we didn’t take full advantage of that or the amenities because we were mostly gone out exploring in Bar Harbor. "I had a wonderful one-night stay at Hanscom Cottages & Motel! The room was clean, cozy, and surprisingly spacious. It was very pet-friendly, which made traveling with my pups so much easier. Check-in and check-out were quick and seamless, and the location was perfect for exploring the area. It was only a 7-min drive to Acadia NP! I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay!"
