Spectacular lakefront location. Quiet, yet close to major highways and Autobahn. Both for business travelers and for leisure travelers. excellent breakfast buffet, and also gourmet level fish for dinner. Room was freshly remodelled. Very friendly staff. All this for very reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

We stayed at this hotel as part of our driving trip to Europe . The reception is abit weird to find with us walking through the kitchen walkthrough area . Staff were pleasant booking us in . Our room was on the first floor and the room was very pleasant with modern decor and furnishings . Not sure I’m a fan on the low wooden beds as great for hitting your shins on . The bathroom whilst clean was dated and out of keeping with the room decor . The shower was over the bath . We decided to eat at the hotel and this was a real highlight as the food was fabulous although the chap in charge needs to smile more and be more friendly in people enquire if they have a English menu rather than a curt no . We managed to work it out with Google translate . As much as the meal itself was great it was spoiled for me however by the prevalence of mosquitoes that despite my spray still managed to bite me. I guess this was due to the hotel being by a lake . Breakfast was great and both the lady running this and the 2 young cleaners we spoke to were very friendly . For me the mosquitoes was a big issue as I react badly to them so I probably wouldn’t return .

Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber, gepflegt und man hat sich sofort wohlgefühlt. Positiv hervorzuheben ist außerdem, dass das Hotel hundefreundlich ist. Eine klassische Lobby gibt es nicht, stattdessen kann man sich im Restaurant aufhalten. Leider war genau das ein deutlicher Minuspunkt unseres Aufenthalts. Als wir dort lediglich etwas trinken wollten, wurden wir praktisch dazu gedrängt, Essen zu bestellen. Nachdem wir dies abgelehnt hatten, änderte sich der Umgangston der Bedienung spürbar: unfreundlich, herablassend und so, als wäre man als Gast weniger willkommen. In den folgenden Tagen haben wir daher Getränke nur noch mit aufs Zimmer genommen, da es keine alternative Aufenthaltsmöglichkeit gibt. Abgesehen davon war der Aufenthalt an sich sehr schön, vor allem wegen der vielen Unternehmungsmöglichkeiten in der Umgebung. Aufgrund der negativen Erfahrungen mit dem Service im Restaurant würden wir das Hotel jedoch nicht noch einmal besuchen.

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt

Als Zwischenstopp für die Fahrt nach München gedacht war ich sehr angenehm überrascht über die Qualität der Unterkunft und auch das sehr freundliche Personal des Hauses. Netter Empfang, ein schönes, sehr sauberes Zimmer mit Blick zum See und ein wirklich ausgezeichnetes Frühstück. Sehr gerne wieder, und dann gleich ein paar Tage mehr! Man hat hier wirklich das Gefühl, als Gast willkommen zu sein. Kommt heute schon selten vor, dass man so einen verborgenen Edelstein findet!

Die Lage ist unschlagbar, wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Balkon und direkten Blick auf den Chiemsee,einfach herrlich. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich eingerichtet und mit Wasser und Kaffeemaschine ausgestattet. Das Essen, natürlich Fisch waren vorzüglich. Das Personal sehr nett und typisch Bayrisch. Man kann sehr viel unternehmen rund um den Chiemsee.Einzige Idee, ein direkter Fahrradverleih oder eine Kooperation wären super,so das man nicht nach Prien oder Bernau muss um an ein Rad zu kommen. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Sympathique mais quelques nuisances

L’hôtel est sympathique mais il est au bord de la route et nous avions une chambre au premier étage au dessus de la terrasse des cuisines donc dès que nous ouvrions la fenêtre il y avait des odeurs de cigarettes mais comme il faisait chaud et il n’y avait pas la Clim nous n’avions pas le choix … la chambre est sinon agréable et le petit déjeuner est bon !
