"The hotel has a beautiful view, and the funicular is a fun addition. Unfortunately, those were about the only positives of our stay. Our room smelled terrible the entire time we were there. Even worse, shortly after checking in, I went to use the bathroom and discovered that the toilet had not been cleaned at all—there was urine all over the toilet seat. "Loved this centrally located and charming piece of Ketchikan history. Excellent staff and within walking distance of everything. The parking pass they provided was particularly helpful since the nearby lots are 2 hour max parking. Super close to the cruise ship docks which was neat to observe and also near some really cool bars. If you don't mind a few stairs to your room, stay here."
