"The Holiday Inn at Princeton is a little shabby. The staff did their best but there are very limited facilities and amenities. There was no kettle nor any crockery or cutlery in the room (which did have a coffee maker and microwave), which was annoying given I was there for a number of nights. Free parking is good, and the location was very convenient for me. I made my own breakfast, and got room service (takeaway only, which I had to pick up) twice. The hotel could really do with an upgrade. "

"The front desk, maid service, and maintenance staff all rated 5 stars, always very helpful, timely, and courteous. However, our room seemed not to have been recently inspected or maintained: no power for the outlet in the bathroom (never fixed); the on/off fixture to get hot water from the bathroom sink was broken and maintenance had to be called immediately after we arrived in the room to fix this; and the parking spaces were so poorly outlined in the lot as to be invisible even in bright sunlight; and the buildings' external appearance looked depressed and forgotten. Overall, an impression that daily routine maintenance, periodic preventive maintenance, and long-term upkeep were no longer priorities for the owners. But again, the staff we interacted with were all first rate."

"Room was clean. Maid service was good. Hotel has a great layout. Bar service not good. Difficult to be acknowledged even when practically empty. Not a word of small talk. Flag him down for a refill, or you will remain parched."

"One elevator was broken so sometimes I had to wait for the one working elevator. Breakfast wasn't included in the stay but was available, just not clear how I paid for it. Location was ideal."

"Very clean and quiet. This is one of our favorite places to stay near Princeton, very good value. Note that the breakfast room doors close at 9am sharp even on weekends, which I think is a little early. "
