"We booked our stay at Campo Dell'Oro because it was near the airport and we had a super early departure the next morning. We were not expecting anything luxurious, but that is exactly waht we got! WE are SO happy that we arrived early enough to take advantage of the beautiful pool and bar area. The pool is gorgeous, the water was pristine and the perfect temperature! We enjoyed a delicious dinner in the restaurant; our food was amazing! I had the shrimp risotto and my husband enjoyed the Chef daily special of the local fish. Our server was great (a bonus that he knew English) and our night was perfect. Our room had a stunning view and the bed was super comfortable. A+"
"Great location and facilities. Staff were welcoming and accommodating. The gym could do with better kits and fit-out. Another improvement could be serving drinks at the beach restaurant during the day, rather than just serving food. The weakest point was the breakfast; it's not included in the base price, and it's pretty pricey for what it was."
"Wow, what a beauty!!! Did not know anything about Corsica, Looked for a hotel in Bonifacio. Not knowing anything, was presented with this one through Expedia and booked it thinking it was very close to Bonifacio. It is not, it is in walking vincinity of Sartène. Bonifacio is a little more than an hour away. But regardless, wow, what a beauty! You walk to Sartène from the hotel. A very old village in the mountains. It is lively, beautiful street festival summer Thurday nights, AMAZING food, even the street pizza is remarquable! The breakfasts and pool of the hotel are wonderful and cleanliness is great. Very roomy room as well compare to other european rooms. Visiting Corsica, make a stop in Sartène and stay there. Beaches are accessible within 30 minutes, and day trip to Bonifacio is easy. MUST have a car."
"The hotel has a great location. Our room looked nice, but the bathroom was quite impractical. There were no shower walls or cabinet, so that everything got wet after showering. I had a shower in the evening, and next morning there was still water on the floor. Also, the water in the sink was the public toilet type with a sensor, making it hard to maintain running water and quite cumbersome to shave, remove makeup etc. The breakfast was nice, but pricey."
"Lovely apartment in a beautiful setting with views to the sea and coast . The kitchen had everything we needed and the bedroom had a good size very comfortable double bed with enough wardrobe and shelf space for clothes . Loved having your own garden with sun beds . Every where was very clean and well looked after . The restaurants food was of a high standard and delicious . We stayed for two weeks and it was great to be able to eat there for lunch round the pool or evening . The staff right from arrival at reception and through our stay at the bar and restaurant could not do enough for you to make your experience the best it could be . What a great team . Would definitely recommend staying here . We visited Bonifacio and Porto Vecchio which were both gorgeous and just over an hour to drive to . We flew to Figari which is by both of these ."
"2 nights, booked in room on ground level(room 5). I chose that rather than the rooms higher up purely for convenience.
Brilliant concept of rooms scattered over area with central bar and restaurant. Quiet private beach. Crystal clear blue water (gets deep quickly).Canoes, paddle boards and bikes free to hire. Car parking. Plentiful breakfast.
15-20 minutes walk into town. (We ate at hotel first night for incredible sunset. They squeezed us in on a busy evening-Merci!, and at Le Proprianais 1955 restaurant which was excellent).
I’d say it’s a great place for families, and people of all ages.
A sign of a good hotel is to be really sad to leave. Absolutely fantastic fantastic place to stay."
