"We were offered an upgrade to stay on the second floor which is the third floor if you are an American. Beware if you have large suitcases, as there are no elevators. We had to practically empty our suitcase to get the contents up the stairs. There is a washing machine/dryer combo in the community kitchen, but it takes hours to wash and dry your clothes. "The apartment itself was clean, well equipped and peaceful. The outside spaces however were dirty - the front entrance had pigeon droppings all over it, the stairs were not swept and filthy. The apartments small balcony was full of pigeon droppings and there was an ashtray full of old cigarette butts - this was particularly annoying as everytime we put our towels out to dry on the line we ended up treading pigeon droppings into the apartment. "It would have been a little more helpful to find with a picture of the door. It’s a great location, once you can actually locate the building. Pack light; not great for having a ton of heavy luggage. The door was a little challenging to open but once you are settled in, the property is very clean and quaint. And Theo was a great help to helping me get situated. "
