"We overall really enjoyed our 3 night stay here, and appreciated the quiet and historic charm of this hotel. It is an incredibly unique peace of property, with an attached historic Latomie that was both beautiful and intriguing—we really wished the hotel had access to explore the areas below.
We also really appreciated the continental breakfast, and were surprised by other’s complaints in reviews we had read before staying here. It was the most elaborate continental breakfast we have ever experienced, with options ranging from fresh fruit, to delicious pastries, and even eggs and bacon for those with used to a more American meal.
We loved the pool as well, however we were disappointed that it was only open until 7pm every day, we would have enjoyed an evening swim. The bar was also closed, though they provided service through the bar inside. We also really enjoyed the 2 for $22 aperitivo offered from the bar.
The room we stayed in was small and a bit dated, but met our expectations for an older hotel. We also had issues with the AC not turning off and making our room very cold.
We were able to find parking every night, however I would not describe it as a big parking lot, and it was overflowing every night with people crammed wherever they could find room."
