Hampton By Hilton Venice Isola Nuova
10/10 Excellent
"The property was real close to the water bus making it convenient to get around. They had a nice selection of snacks and drinks for purchase and a nice breakfast."

B&B HOTEL Venezia Laguna
8/10 Good
"Loved the hotel, was a great location and easy to get to. Rooms were fantastic and staff couldn’t do enough for you. The only hiccup I would say is the air con was switched off meaning the rooms were too hot and stuffy. I complained but I have since learned that Italian hotels switch off their air conditioning in November because of seasonal heating and cooling regulations. They did provide a fan in the end as it was a particularly warm even in November. The other issue was a beautiful roof top bar, nowhere do they notify you that drinks to purchase are pretty much double the cost than the other bar in the hotel. We learned this when we paid the bill. Should have at least let you know as the view was not worth the huge price hike. Other than this it was a really nice stay and I would book again as the staff were great, food was excellent and hotel was new and modern"

Venezia Palazzo Barocci

"Great location, fantastic balcony"

Hotel Montecarlo
10/10 Excellent
"We stayed 4 nights at Hotel Monte Carlo, and had to make multiple reservations due to airline cancellations (on UA’s part). We fortunately booked the last room for one night, which was smaller than the other nights’ stay and were concerned we would have to change rooms and pay more—yet, thanks to the very accommodating staff, neither occurred. Additionally, the helpful staff arranged for a private taxi to the port of Fusina to embark on our Viking cruise. The transport was convenient, quick, and while expensive, well worth the over $200 to save us from lugging suitcases through the myriad streets and bridges of Venice and the multiple means of transport to arrive at this industrial port (Miguel even helped with our luggage to a nearby canal). Additionally, the location is perfect, 2 blocks from St Mark’s, the Doge’s Palace, the Square and the wonderful (yet costly) cafes that line the Square. Yet, the narrow street was far enough away so that our room was quiet and peaceful-and after a long day of sightseeing, appreciated. Although our room was tiny, it was impeccably clean, with small touches that made our stay delightful. We never partook in the breakfast, since there are so many cafes nearby to explore and experience the vibe of this truly unique city. One good find was at The Correr Museum, (no admission necessary), go through security and at the top of the stairs it’s on the left: Elegant rooms, usually quiet and relatively inexpensive."

Hyatt Centric Murano Venice
10/10 Excellent
"Clean room. Friendly, nice staff. Buffet breakfast available."

Hotel Principe
10/10 Excellent
"We were only there for 1 night and did not get to enjoy the amenities the hotel had to offer. This is our 2nd stay there and we enjoyed it."

Palazzo San Luca
10/10 Excellent
"The staff was absolutely wonderful, helpful in every way requested. Our room was clean, the bathroom fixtures were all updated and working well. Shower water was hot. It was late October and the heat was on in the room, that was very nice. There are espresso makers in the rooms, Nespresso, with pods restocked every morning. The hotel keeps a list of good, vetted restaurants in the area. We tried three of them and all were good. The hotel is very well located. it’s one block from the Grand Canal, about 50 yards from a grocery store with a good wine stock, about 50 yards from a bank with ATM, and about 100 yards from an excellent pastry and coffee shop called Pasticceria Marchini Time. You absolutely don’t want to miss it. There is no elevator, but the steps are very friendly, modest heights risers and short flights to landings and turns rather than one long flight from floor to floor."

Hotel Guerrato
10/10 Excellent
"Staff was very friendly and helpful. Looked after all of our needs including booking us a water taxi to the airport. Check in was smooth, continental breakfast was great. Overall a great hotel with a convenient location. Would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone."

Hotel Cavalletto e Doge Orseolo
10/10 Excellent
"The staff, location, and overall stay were exceptional! The hotel was very clean, with spacious rooms and large bathrooms. They even provided complimentary water and sparkling wine, which was a lovely touch. The surrounding area was beautiful, and all the major tourist attractions were within walking distance. Breakfast was also included and enjoyable. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating, making our stay even more memorable. Highly recommended! We would definitely love to stay here again. From Canada!"
