"2 very small room suite without any Galapagos flair. Nobody helped with luggage to and from the room. No internet for the entire stay. Personell was kind of friendly but very cool and reserved. Asked for help to find a place and was told to use Google Maps. Breakfast not fresh prepared but dry and old. Next time will stay at Golden Bay Hotel."

"Excellent location! Walk off the ferry with your bags and directly to La Zayapa. I had a difficult time before arriving with payment link and WhatsApp. I finally figured out WhatsApp and called the front desk; no worries, they had my reservation and told me to just settle up when checking in. Breakfast was wonderful and the day we left on the 7am ferry, they had a to-go meal packaged for each of us on a table on the way out the door. They also have very reasonable full laundry service. "Property in poor condition, quite old, bathroom was stinky I am not sure if from sewage but it was bad smell whole trip. I heard every step from above and next neighbor, i could hear what they speaking, the walls were like paper. It was quite noisy (noisy neighbors). There were beetles in my room that bit, i found also some 2 insects crawling under bed not sure what it was. Breakfast was fine. "Rooms were clean, ac worked awesome, staffs were very attentive, caring, nice, and very helpful. Major disappointment was that both of the Jacuzzi did not work. Over all location was great, minus the mountain steps you have to go up. Over all expericen was great and would stay there again. "

"My first time staying in a hostel and it was amazing close to everything. Do not worry if you think you’re far from the beach or where the animals and the seals are you are one minute walk from everything the place is immaculately clean cleaned our room every day no matter what time we left the breakfast is the best awesome awesome awesome five stars all around."

"The place was fine. I would stay there again. My gripes are that the WiFi didn’t work (and is likely running on hardware that hasn’t been updated in 8yrs) - just stop advertising it as an amenity if it doesn’t work reliably rather than making me spend time experimenting. And the bathroom in room 11 had a smell that came up from the shower drain. It wasn’t horrible, but it was definitely noticeable - largely suppressible for several hours by taking a long shower with plenty of soap. "
