"The hotel staff was very accommodating to any concerns or needs I had. My television did not work my entire day and my humidifier kept going out. When I made them aware of this issue, they fixed it. My room also had mold in it, and they were able to clean the room. I also found my balcony door very hard to use so I wasn’t able to enjoy that. The location is convenient because there are plenty of restaurants in the surrounding area. Upon your arrival at this hotel, you learn that you have a $25 credit to be used at their on site restaurant. they also are very close to the beach and at that beach you will have access to beach umbrellas and chairs. I love that their pool area was open very early until 11 PM. I found the dinner staff to be very friendly however, the morning and lunch staff were a bit off putting . I attempted to get lunch before the restaurant closed and was told they were no longer operating for service at 1:15 when it closes at 2! It also suggested to sit at the bar rather than a table since I was solo or come back another time. I was definitely charged for a filet mignon and received another steak cut. The other food and my nights I ate dinner there were very good! One of the waiters very friendly ( a bald man) suggested a book store to me in the area that I could visit and always welcomed customers every night with a smile! The morning crew had a young gentleman with a ponytail and glasses he was also very warm and welcoming to customers. "

"Pool was pretty. Easy walk to the beach, about 2 blocks. The hotel restaurant was ok. Breakfast was good if you wanted an omelette. Other items lacked some, not as many choices as most Embassy Suites. Room was clean. Staff was friendly. Would stay again. The grocery is a walk around the corner. "

"It was a nice resort, but needed some updating. The WiFi was pretty terrible and overall systems dated. You have to wear a watch like band to open your room door, but have to manually provide your room number and name for every drink or meal. Most bars ring you up every time you order a drink even if you are having several rounds. We like more adult style properties and this catered more to families and conventions. Also, the food was very average. They did have good bourbon selection in a few bars which is tough to find in the Caribbean. The private island was ok, but transport was not timely like they advertise. "
