Such a cute property with an Old Mexico vibe - so charming. The garden is beautiful and relaxing. The pool is not heated so definitely on the cool side. Hot Tub was cool as well but there were very accommodating when we asked to turn it up. Located in walking distance to the beach and restaurants . Beds are on the hard side so be prepared. Definitely would go back .

Teriffic bed and breakfast! Beautiful tiles everywhere (pool, courtyard around the pool and the outside entrance area). Wonderful, authentic breakfast- they kept coming out with more food! The proprietor was warm, low key, charming and accommodating. There was a problem with the reservation, he hadn't received it from Expedia, and he handled it in a relaxed and accommodating way

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful little place. The pool area and garden was a real treat. The breakfast was great and the staff and owner Virgilio were awesome. There are walkable restaurants in the area and the beach is close too.

You can’t go wrong staying here

This is our go to place when staying in Nuevo Vallarta. It’s close to PV and the marina in Nuevo Vallarta. Virgilio is an excellent host, the breakfast is beyond delicious! The pool, gardens and small palapas are beautiful. The rooms are clean and huge. Highly recommend staying at Casa Virgillios

The property is beautiful, comfortable rooms, staff is helpful & friendly, and breakfast is delicious. The area is quiet, you barely hear cars go by or see people walking around. Not a lot of businesses close but you can walk about 3 blocks to a strip mall where you find a pharmacy, beauty salon, and restaurants (froyo, Mediterranean, italian, breakfast, juice bar, etc).

I love this place! It’s peaceful, beautiful, colorful, staff and owner are super nice and accommodating. They serve fruits, eggs, beans, rice, enchiladas and other yummy foods for breakfast. I had a medical procedure done and had to check-in early and no problem! (Contact them in advance in case of possible conflict). If you are ok with being away from the big resorts crowd, this place is perfect!

Hotel Boutique

Fantastic hotel boutique. Great service. You feel like you are at your friends' home, not an hotel. Delicious breakfast. The garden is a tropical paradise with a large pool. The beach is 10 min walk.

We have stayed here before and enjoyed it. It’s about a 1/2 mile from the ocean, but is a very nice place that we stay sometimes just to relax.

Good area.

Place is in a good spot. Walk to the beach in 20 minutes. Some restaurants only 5 mins.away, others 10-15. this place is in a residential area. Very quiet, which we loved. Great staff and owner. would stay here again.

beyond our expectations

In lovely residential district within 2 blocks of beach and action. Beautiful small hotel, large lovely rooms and fabulous breakfast. Stunning back yard with pool and well designed gardens. I was looking for a place to spend the night before traveling to our next destination but found a place I want to come back too and stay.

If you enjoy chatting with other guests this place is for you. Mostly retirement age folks were there during our stay. Breakfast was really good! Not convenient to many restaurants without a big walk or taxi. It was a quiet pleasant stay. I would go back for a rew days.

It Doesn't Get Any Better!

Casa Virgilios is a beautiful 12 room B&B accommodation in Nuevo Vallarta! It is named after the owner and manager Virgilio. Every room is named after an astrological sign and although some are more spacious the others, I believe all are very nice! Virgilio himself will greet you when you arrive and is very helpful in terms of getting you started on your Nuevo vacation. The pool and grounds are beautiful and well kept and the staff is absolutely wonderful! Everything is kept spotless and the attention to detail is wonderful, Two bottles of water are provided each and every day as is a really tasty buffet style breakfast! Clean, comfortable and a short taxi ride or walk away from beaches, restaurants, etc. It is a quiet oasis and if that's what you are after .... it doesn't get any better!

Quiet, friendly, safe and comfortable

Very nice host and a comfortable property, quiet and safe. Great for meeting and enjoying fellow guests. Somewhat limited on local walk-able (w/in 3/4 mile) restaurants as many of the nearby mega resorts on the beach are all-inclusive and will not allow you to dine in their restaurants. I liked the property very much as it was peaceful and friendly.

Hotel lovely upon arrival, inviting entrance

The interior is dark, no one is around other than the kitchen staff. Our room was tucked in corner of facility with an entrance walking thru the kitchen, or outside into main door. Interior of room authentic Mexico, but everything well used, very very dusty, fold our bed in extremely poor condition, I would not sit on it. Walls dusty, ceiling dusty, ceiling fan dusty. Two kitchen chairs, one chair was broken right thru. Not sure the last time the floor was swept. Outdoors not well kept. Breakfast was the best attribute for this Casa.
