"The staff was amazing! Consider this place a home away from home! Maria, Antonio and Citlaly were amazing! Always assisted us in booking a taxi! Helped do research on places we wanted to visit, would offer us assistance on any and everything. Food was amazing! Views were gorgeous, you’re walking distance from water taxis. It’s about a 30-40 minute drive from zona romantica, which is where more of the city life is. So just be considerate of how much you’ll be paying in taxis roughly $25 usd one way. But if paying for a taxi is no problem, I would recommend this place 100%. It’s a smaller resort, more personal and you’re also paying for amazing hospitality and for a more intimate experience. I can’t emphasize enough how just staying at this resort made our experience in Puerto Vallarta so memorable. I just wanted to really give this staff a huge shout out! I really can’t get over how welcoming they were. Truly grateful!"

"We stayed in Hotel Encino for 2 week and came home yesterday and we didn’t want to leave! The staff were amazing and hard working. The hotel is in the heart of the city and the people. You can walk anywhere from the hotel. The pool and the restaurant upstairs was amazing as well. If you are looking for a fancy resort, this is not the place. This hotel has a nostalgic Mexican feel, no refrigerator or microwave, Just good vibes. Why do you need any of that when everyone around you is cooking all day and night. Everywhere you go, there is food. So if you are going to Mexico expecting American resorts, this place ain’t for you. But if you are someone who likes to explore and doesn’t need to be in the room all day. This hotel is for you. Thank you again to the staff at Hotel Encino, from the front office to the restaurant, you all were amazing. Thank you for letting us practice our Spanish with you. Thank you for smiling faces. Thank you and keep up the good work."
