The property is beautiful, well kept, and staff was wonderful. The rooms were outstanding and provided everything we needed for a convenient stay. The location is within walking distance to everything in puerto viejo. Defintely highly recommended.

We stayed in October 2025 our room was perfect and clean I was celebrating my birthday my husband and I had a wonderful time Oscar and Janeliz were very accommodating they helped us with our excursions they were very professional and sweet I would definitely go back to the same spot hospitality was beyond just great and amazing

Nice, clean hotel, very close to shops and restaurants. Good options for the included breakfast. The open floor was a turnoff, because of the lack of privacy in the bathroom. Everyone in the room can see your naked butt in the shower. Plus you would need to practice stealth mode while on the toilet. But hey, you could watch the living room TV whiie seating on the toilet!!!

I stayed for one night and it was definitely worth it. The hotel has beautiful facilities and great amenities. It's conveniently located—just a short walk to the beach, restaurants, and bars. Overall, it's a very nice hotel, and I would definitely come back. The breakfast was delicious, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. However, if I were to provide any feedback, it would be about the bathroom design. It's completely open, and you can see everything from the bed. Adding doors or some form of privacy would really improve the experience. Also, the pool had a strong chlorine smell, which could be toned down a bit. Despite those small issues, I really enjoyed my stay!

NO DOOR IN BATHROOM can be an issue. The hotel is beautiful and in a great location, walking distance from the center of Puerto Viejo. However, we had an issue upon arrival. We booked a room for three adults, and the photos on Expedia clearly showed a bathroom with a door. Instead, they tried to give us a room with no door to the shower or toilet, and the beds had a direct view into the shower. This was never mentioned anywhere. This setup might work for a couple, but it’s very uncomfortable for three adults. Having to step OUT of the hotel room each time someone needs to use the shower or toilet is not the greatest. This was never mentioned anywhere. The receptionist said all rooms were like that and initially only offered a biombo (folding screen) for privacy. We felt misled and asked to cancel our 2-night reservation. Only then did the receptionist contact the owner and offer us a different room with a door into the toilet area, plus another biombo for the shower area. This solution worked, and after that our stay was pleasant. We simply showered with the bathroom light off. The receptionist was very kind and even brought us three Coca-Colas as a gesture. Breakfast was good, with hot and cold options. The second morning’s buffet was a bit disorganized (we had to ask for plates, silverware, and glasses), but the staff was helpful. Overall, once the room issue was resolved, we enjoyed our stay.

Birthday break

An amazing hotel and staff. Great breakfast served with a smile. Good location, not too far from the center, close enough to restaurants and the beach. Staff made the stay extra special and very welcome with lots of local knowledge Hope to go back soon.
