"Extremely spacious and well equipped with one exception, given the unusually warm weather—no AC, some fans, and no screens on windows that do open. The garden has a knockout location right on the river and some rooms also have this gorgeous view, including the huge bathroom with freestanding tub. There are however a lot of stairs. "The building is not the one that they insinuate it is, that is the hotel it is next to which I found misleading. There are stains all over the walls, bed is really uncomfortable and found someone else’s hair on my pillowcase with random stains. The toilet does not flush properly. I will say it is in great location tho"

"Cooks Flat is a great find in Wrexham! Tranquil, peaceful and beautiful walks on the property. What a treat to stay on a private estate and visit the Victorian kitchen and games room.
