"We loved everything about this property!
It has a friendly hostel feel with some very cozy hangout spaces, yoga mats to use, hammocks and a well equipped communal kitchen. The staff were amazing and very helpful. Carlos helped to organize a Sea tour for us at an affordable price. The smoothies were delicious and the sea view room we stayed in was beautiful with a hammock outside.
We were a bit hesitant to book at a hostel/hotel as we were travelling with a young child and like some privacy...
"El lugar está muy bonito, pero el servicio muy malo, lo describen como resort, cosa que no es, no hay desayuno, el servicio de la comida extremadamente lento y malo. Deberían de avisar para antes comprar comida ya que está en medio de la nada, no había agua cuando llegamos, el último día nos salió un alacrán. "
"This is a really wonderful place to stay! It’s right on the sea of Cortez with dreamy, sunrises and sunsets, the staff is lovely and helpful. The food is excellent, and the Palapas are charming with your own little deck and hammock, and they are quite large inside. Also the resort offers excellent excursions like boat and snorkel trips, paddleboards, and kayaks and more. I will definitely return."

If i needed advice, information, or recommendations, Genaro was always so very helpful. Walking distance from the beach and some amazing food! I would recommend this gem of a stay to everyone. Genaro was one of the nicest people i've ever met! Stella Maris is wonderful! I will 100% be returning next year! "
