"Great location, right next to Wailea and steps away from the walking/running path along the beach shoreline . The complex has a great low key family feel, a bit of a throwback vibe; built 1981 but they’ve done a good job w keeping it modern including nice pool area, updated bathrooms/kitchen. The appliances are older but not a problem. Everything extremely clean and daily housekeeping to replace towels (who has daily towel service anymore these days?!) and empty trash. "Our family of 5 stayed at Maui Sunset on our first trip to Maui. It was perfect for our needs, the one bedroom with pull out and Murphy bed fit us just right. Only down side was that it’s not super close to all the shops and restaurants but we had a rental car so it wasn’t an issue."
