"I had a very enjoyable stay at The St. Regis on the Bund in Shanghai. The hotel has an elegant atmosphere, a great location, and overall provides a very comfortable and pleasant experience.
The breakfast was good, with a nice variety of choices and good-quality food. I also visited the hotel bar during my stay. The drinks were good and the atmosphere was pleasant, although I would say the drinks were good rather than exceptional.
One area that could be improved was the room-cleaning service. On a couple of occasions, I needed to call by phone to request that my room be cleaned. It would be great if the housekeeping service could be more consistent and proactive in the future.
I would especially like to give Derrick Hu a high level of recognition for his outstanding help and hospitality during my stay. Derrick was exceptionally attentive, professional, and thoughtful. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of and that I felt well looked after. His warm and genuine service made a real difference and truly enhanced my stay.
Overall, I had a very positive experience at The St. Regis on the Bund. While there are a few areas where the hotel could improve, Derrick’s excellent service stood out and made my stay particularly memorable. I would be happy to return and would recommend the hotel to others visiting Shanghai."
