"This was an excellent guest house! The staff were very warm and accommodating. There was convenient designated parking and the guest house was right below Berat Castle.The room was spacious and very clean with a terrace as well. A good breakfast was also included. We ended up needing to stay an extra night, and they worked very hard to make it happen for us."

"If you've never visited Albania, know this: the people of Albania are among the friendliest and kindest people you will ever meet. The first word that comes to mind when thinking of the Valza Boutique Hotel in Vlora is "hospitality." Even by the high Albanian standards, the owners and staff of this hotel are incredibly hospitable. The hotel is owned and operated by a family. They truly care about your stay with them being exceptional. Not a large corporation or "hotel chain." The decor is modern, elegant and comfortable. The construction (walls, doors, etc.) is solid and soundproof. The view of the Vlora bay from the roof terrace is incredible. The free breakfast is prepared daily with fresh, local ingredients including traditional albanian cakes and pastries. We booked a week then extended our stay another week. We were very pleased we chose this hotel for our stay in Vlora. "
