The room was clean. For me i prfere the location and rooms in the DG Intercontinental hotel, but they were fully booked out for these dates.

Ascott Songshan Lake Dongguan
Very nice modern hotel with surprisingly large and luxurious rooms with great amenities. Even a washer dryer in the room. I did laundry three times! Breakfast at the hotel restaurant was good.
