Coast Parksville Hotel

"The location was good and the room was kept clean. It did have a bit of a musty smell coming from the AC unit and it was a little inconvenient that our room did not have a balcony or anywhere outside to dry towels etc. It was good value for the area and a short walk to the beach. I was not a fan of the lack of carpet because you would feel any little bit of sand that you brought in until they cleaned it the next day. Thank e free round of mini golf across the road was nice and the back patio area was nice to eat."

"I had a great stay and wish I had more time to enjoy all the facilities. Only spent one night. Staff were great. If you are looking for modern, then this is not the place for you. I was in an extremely old cabin. It was maintained very well but was also very dated. Absolutely no internet connection with their wifi."

"The host was very helpful, friendly and accommodating. With 2 small children, 1 & 4, I was hoping to get something on the ground floor. He accommodated my request without any hesitation. The room was clean and had the stated amenities. The bathroom was very small making it a bit of a challenge to bathe the kids and to assist the 4 year old when she used the toilet. Other than that I feel it was worth the money spent."

"We stayed in a partial beach view room. The location was great because it was close to the beach, and the air conditioning worked really well. The refrigerator and freezer also worked well, and it was nice that basic utensils were provided. However, the water temperature in the shower was inconsistent, which made my kids nervous about taking a shower. I think this may be due to the age of the property. The TV required either paying for individual apps or having a subscription to use them, which was a little inconvenient. Overall, it was a decent stay, especially for the convenient location and well-functioning air conditioning and appliances."

"We had a 2 queen room #338 and the beds were soooo comfortable. I should have checked the mattress. The breakfast was busy at 8am, but the food was replenished often. Good variety available. This is my second time there, and it is a good option as it's central and lots of parking."
