"Very cute and nice for the price. We stayed in room 2. The restaurant wasn't open at the time we were there but I could see that it was quaint. Since we were foreigners I wish that the mistress would have warned us to be at the restaurants in St Pierre de Chartreuse at 7pm. They only took food orders for 1 hour. Luckily there was an actual saint there who saw us being rejected at 8:20pm and knew a place 20 minutes away that he secured a late reservation for us or we would not have eaten that...

"The owner of this lovely small hotel - really like a bed & breakfast - was waiting outside on her sidewalk bench when we pulled up. Beautiful quiet village in the gorgeous North France mountains, bicyclists and hikers everywhere, fresh food and delicious local bubbly wine (remember don't call it "champagne" if it's not from the Champagne region!). Very friendly. As traditional in France, they are very proud of their French language and don't particularly try to excel in "speaking English" but...

"We stayed here on a one night stopover when travelling to the alps from Antibes. Wow..! - super stylish and beautifully furnished with really helpful and friendly staff. Retro room but immaculate and comfortable.
The restaurant was absolutely superb. We did a month long road trip in France this summer, and the dinner experience was easily our favourite of the trip. We were even invited into the kitchen to meet the fantastic staff..! Simply fantastic. Highly recommended."
