"This is a classic, elegant upscale hotel with well maintained, individual cottages each with a spectacular view of Lake Arenal (when the clouds lift). The food is outstanding, both the included breakfast and the ala carte lunch/dinner menu. The service is excellent and staff very helpful and friendly. It rained all 5 days we stayed here. Our room, tucked away in a lovely oasis-like environment, was very clean and comfortable. I loved the grounds and the restaurant. And we got to see howler monkeys along the river!"

There was one instance I came back from the hot spring and needed a towel, I didn't even say anything and someone I believe Dorian I think his name was came out of nowhere to give me a towel. "Absolutely beautiful property! Our check in was friendly and fast. The individual little cabins were so cute! We had a very long travel day (2 days actually) so we sadly slept through breakfast both days. Property is very well maintained and clean. We would have liked more pillows but I’m sure we could have had them if we asked. Overall a great spot! We thought it was better than expected for the price. "
