The hotel looked ok from the outside, but the room was great and the location is excellent. I loved the view of the lake from the room. I would highly recommend staying here.

On a very commutable distance to town and clean bathrooms & rooms with fresh linen.. the reception desk girl was also very welcoming as she offered a hot tea on arrival as a welcome tea also ask for handling baggages in-spite of having a construction on site they’ve managed very well. Thankyou for the stay.

Overall pretty good

Friendly staff. Good location. Beautiful view, butveiw was hampered by all the scaffolding. Parking would normally be great, but currently the painters are taking up the car parks. I would recommend this property for couples or business people.

Great views! Be ready to haul your bags upstairs if your on second or third level. Room was nice and newly remodeled but the air conditioner didn’t work. It was hot so we opened the windows and listened to the traffic noise all night

If you are not fit or have a disability this is not the place to stay! Partner slipped on steps Place being upgraded but surrounds suggest a building site empty paint cans and gardening tools left outside,along with Tape over windows Lack of Tea and reply from staff not what you would expect especially when I could purchase from local supermarket myself

First the good points: There is a good lake view and the one employee who seems to do everything is polite and tries to help. There are a number of issues though. I booked a twin room specifically as it has a balcony but the room does not have one. I queried this but was told this is what I had booked. As I had prepaid there wasn’t much I could do. Other items in the property description not available: guest laundry, satellite TV, daily room service, reception is not manned but you have to call - expensive for international travellers. This was the most expensive and poorest accommodation in my three week tour of New Zealand.
