I would like to give this hotel a better rating but the few problem areas limit the rating. 1. The restaurant is good for breakfast, but the other meals are trying to be a higher end French menu than they can pull off. 2. The biggest problem was that my air conditioning didn't work and if on it blew hot air. I asked them to address it and they said that was the normal operation and temperature be 26.5C. My friend's room, had too good of AC and it took a bit to get his room above 16C as it blew cold all the time. Basically it was a huge problem and they just ignored my request for them to address it. I did get a fan which helped. (which as first I was told they had none...) The housekeeping staff was great. The view is great. The bar staff are great.

The location is great and close to all historic sites. The pool and outdoor area is beautiful. However, this is not a 5 star hotel. The staff is very disorganized, there is no one to help with luggage and the reception is less than acceptable. The rooms are just ok - The bathroom is fine, but the water runs outside the shower onto the floor. The walls do not look completely finished and rooms are not updated.

Facilities are excellent along with the garden and patios overlooking the river. Restaurant has a large and varied breakfast buffet and fine dining for dinner. The staff however was simply incredible! 40 years of travel and I’ve never come across such an hospitable staff!

Très chouette hôtel
C''est la 4ème fois que je séjourne dans cet hôtel. Très bien situé et très accueillant. Le personnel est vraiment sympa. Chambre "appart" spacieux. demander les chambres autour de la piscine. Il se peut qu'il y ait de la musique le soir dans les bâtiments entourant l'hôtel. Très embêtant pour ceux qui ont le sommeil léger...

Die grüne Stadt Rabat ist zu Empfehlen!
Bei gutem Wetter ist es eine Freude, Abends auf die Terrasse ein kühles Getränke gegenüber der beleuchteten Stadt Rabat zu genießen. Die Stadt Rabat hat einiges an Sehenswürdigkeiten zu bieten und ist eine Reise Wert. Erstaunlich ist die Vielzahl an grünen Flächen und gut unterhaltene Rasen. Auch die Sauberkeit in der Stadt ist Top!

Considering the fact they call themselves VIP hotel, it does not look like it. Breakfast buffet is poor. Water in the room (only 2 bottles of 1/2 liter a day!!!!). Hotel location is great as it is close to the city and other designation. Staff is friendly.

My second time staying at this nice hotel. Staff were excellent except for the man who is in charge of the bar. I think he serves and care only about certain people that tip him good. I was gonna tip him good also but he is very disrespectful. Otherwise very nice hotel.

Lhotel est tres bien les chambres spacieuses, pourraient etre plus propre. On a eu des odeurs de canalisations et trouver un cafard mort. Le pire c'est la reception, ils sont pas du tout a l'écoute, à notre arrivee seule une chambre sur deux etait prete il a fallu attendre longtemps pour avoir la deuxieme. Une de nos valises a ete cassée par le monsieur qui nous les a deposé en chambre le pire il ne nous le dit meme pas jusqua ce quon le decouvre. Meme apres lavoir su la reception ne fait rien, aucun geste commercial. Vraiment dommage car cest un bel hotel mais le service ny est pas

The exterior grounds of the hotel are beautiful; the interior grounds, particularly the rooms, are outdated and filthy. Filthy carpets, filthy accessories, rock hard bed, outdated etc. The rooms smelled of mustiness and/or sewer. When we arrived, the AC was clearly not working. Instead of being honest, the hotel kept making excuses stating it was being serviced and should be on in ten minutes. This did not occur. The manager apologized in the AM and offered us use of the pool and a free future room, but we won’t be back. This is definitely not a five stars hotel, more like a two star motel.

nice and quiet
a very nice hotel. staff are happy to help and there is a nice view. the fitness center is super small and the main piece was broken so I could not train properly.. the breakfast is OK but not more than that. a bit far from the Rabat center and therefore the taxis are a bit more expensive

I am asking to refrain in using expedia site to book hotel or flights any where in the world. Booked in this hotel Dawliz from Dec 2 to Dec 3, 2021. Unfortunately, Morocco closed its border I was unable to enter the country. I made cancelation by phone directly to the hotel and on expedia web-site, however, Expedia refused to force the hotel to charge my amex and the hotel refused to return my money. It is insane that expedia bought the Hotel insane theft claim when their own country close its border to all tourists due to Omicron, New covid variant. I warn to think twice before booking with expedia. Majority of their support staff is in in some 3rd world country who have no idea about customer service. be aware please. jay
