"Easy check in, close to beach, ocean views from our room, walk to restaurants, few minute drive to cambria and hearst castle abput 20 minutes , great location, fridge micro also, pet friendly with no extra fees fur them so thats always a plus, we will stay again definitely, tho they are doing construction and remodeling atm we stayed june 2025 but it didnt interrupt any part of the stay thankfully 😀 we loved it"

"When you arrive, park easily and check in within 5 mins you know it is going ok. When you go into your room and realise you can see and hear the ocean, you know it is going to be morevthan ok. Ivreally enjoyed staying here, as i could walk to the beach and there were dining options close by. The room was great which was important as i felt a little ill that night (too much Californian sun for an Englishman) and was able to relax and choose a film from the many TV options."

"Enjoyed our stay. Brought our dog. Reasonable fee. Indoor pool and hot tub were clean and the temp was nice. Close to Cambria etc. Great hiking trails by the ocean but the forest trail we went on in cambria has poison ivy and ticks, "

"I always like the Morgan Hotel. We stay there every year. Comfortable. I like to stay in the north building. There's a pretty garden outside the windows. Roomy, everything is clean. The only disappointment was that they have replaced the old comfy armchairs in the room with uncomfortable office chairs. I liked those old chairs. Also the people who work there are extremely nice, every one of them is pleasant and helpful and genial. I will be back next year. "

"What a charming retro motel to stay in. Not only was it clean an had all the amenities I needed, but the owners were so wonderfully friendly and helpful and suggested wonderful places to eat at. I will definitely stay here on my next visit."

"Lovely location, a well kept older motel, yes it needs some work, but you can see they are making improvements and maintaining things. The restaurant prices are high, but comparable with the local restaurants. Check in was fast and flawless, Luis at the front desk was very professional and friendly. "
