"Pros: Ocean views, close to Big Sur and beautiful hikes etc, spacious room, big bed with clean linens, dog friendly, pretty grounds. Cons: Coffee shop not open until 8–but k cups in room if you like that. Didn’t love the restaurant food. Room felt a little motel-y but was large—maybe a little awkwardly large with a huge dated walk in closet w loose shelves. Didn’t realize the living room and kitchens were shared space. Dogs weren’t allowed in those areas either and we traveled with our pup....

"Very clean and comfortable room. Great ocean views and centrally located to restaurants, hiking, the beach, Hearst Castle and much more! Affordable! "

"This place needs a new makeover. Everything was outdated. The carpet was so dirty and filthy. When you take a shower, the drain is so slow it fills up the tub. The only nice thing is the location and the staff. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I booked a three day stay and left on the second day. 1 star "

"Parking was easy, very convenient. The room was nice a clean, love that there was a coffee maker i the room. The restaurant that is next door was great, the food was good and the staff was very friendly. Very close to Hearst Castle and across was the beach."
