"Seedy, falling apart, filthy. Walkway carpet hid actual holes in the floor. Bed sheets were dirty with signs of bed bugs (lots, and I mean LOTS of black particles), also hair and stains. Bird droppings all over the external stairs and landing. I wouldn't stay here on a bet!"

"The motel is 10 minutes from Hearst castle and Cambria. A minute away walking is a restaurant and convenience store. For a motel I am pleasantly surprised that it’s really clean and well kept. The showers have quartz and good working faucet. The window facing the courtyard has large shutters. The room only has heating - no a/c - coastal cooling usually means it’s not necessary to have a/c. "It was our first time staying here or being in the area. The place was cute and quiet, and it was perfect for us because it was only 5 minutes away from Heart's Castle. The rooms were okay, nothing special. They need a bit of an upgrade. Our bathroom towel rod was broken, and the sliding door came off the rail, but we were able to put it back. We didn’t have enough towels, and we asked for more, and they gave us pool towels, which is okay, I guess. My biggest thing was that it seems like people...
