"The room was bigger than usual, has the jacuzzi, carpets in the hallway and room are very clean. No odors of cigarettes in the whole facility. Bathroom was very clean and fairly new. The pressure from the shower could be better, the water from the sink could flow faster. Air conditioner was working very well and not loud, the best treat was the control was on the wall. A lot of choices for breakfast but typical quality from hotels that offer them, no gourmet food. I wished the parking was free...

"Very clean room, we got everything we needed, anything we did needed the staff was very helpful. Friendly, we had an issue with the A/C but the issue was resolved quickly and in professional manner. Very quiet area. I heard the birds in the early morning it was very nice. Thanks for a great stay at the super 8."

"Hair dryer does not work, both key cards don’t work. Try to call staff at 11 pm (after hour) and it take 30 minutes."

"Very disappointing experience. We booked and paid for a Studio with Two Double Beds, but were given a room with one bed and an uncomfortable pull-out sofa instead. We checked in on time, yet the staff refused to provide the room we reserved and kept changing their explanation. The room wasn’t clean, and there were no pillows or bed sheets for the sofa bed. We had to look for staff around midnight just to get basic bedding. Overall, the service was poor, and the entire stay was frustrating. I...

"We stayed here several times last year and enjoyed it and it is very convenient location for us as it is close to family. Unfortunately the room we were given this time didn't seem quiet up to par compared to last year. I think it could use a freshening up."

"El personal matutino fue muy atento, pero la chica del turno nocturno no tenía buena disposición, el sofá cama con el que contaba la habitación y que sería necesario de acuerdo al número de personas en la reservación no contaba con sábanas o cobijas, cuando se solicitaron solo entrego una sábana y una cobija que no estaban dobladas, la cama principal no tenía cobija y al solicitar una la chica dijo que no había y punto."

"I never complain and I’ve stayed in some sketchy places before but this hotel was absolutely terrible. There were so many cockroaches I couldn’t believe how many there were in the room when I woke up the cockroaches had crawled on me. The room was covered in graffiti, smelled, and there was spilled red paint in the bathroom. There was a group of men drinking alcohol and partying all night I could not sleep. This place needs to be condemned."

"The good: - friendly, nice, helpful staff - spacious room and shower - delicious free coffee - quiet - A/C worked well The bad: - the bed was itchy (I slept poorly) - the toilet seat was beat up - they began clearing the buffet 5-10 minutes before the scheduled time (there was plenty of food and we were still eating) - elevator door closes fast I chose this hotel due to brand name and price. I will consider other hotels before returning."

"The room was clean and there was plenty of parking available. The location was very close to downtown San Jose and SJSU. Also, several fast food restaurants on the block and across the street. This was an afforable and convenient location to stay for the SJSU commencement."
