"Lovely atmosphere with private feel yet still very close to beach and park. Breakfast on site was good and many places to eat within walking distance. The nature walk on property feels more 'jungle' then the trails in the park itself. We had two rooms side by side which worked well for our family of four. Pool area is very nice with shaded palapas. Trail at end of parking lot to beach which is flat and off the main road. Highly recommend if you want a smaller, quiet resort within easy walking...

"Our group had a 3 night stay in the monkey room. We loved the private outdoor seating area, the large room with a fridge (cold drinks!), and comfortable beds. The staff was so lovely and super helpful. Two of us were not feeling well for some of the time, and they were so accommodating with when we needed our room cleaned, helping us order fresh fruit plates to the room, and checking in on us when we went in and out. "Loved staying at Ecotico for a weekend. Gorgeous campus, very nice staff, excellent breakfast. My daughter and I enjoyed the spa that fit is in last minute. After getting caught in the rain a staffer very kindly ran our clothes through the dryer. Would stay here again. "

"I stayed here for 3 nights and the cleanliness was unacceptable. When we arrived, there was hair around and under the sink, dirt near the fridge, and the room clearly wasn’t properly cleaned. The bathroom was completely neglected there were even dead bugs that were still there after housekeeping came.The bed looked made, but the fitted sheet had not been changed. We had to ask them to replace it, and it took time. Communication was also difficult due to the language barrier. Basic hygiene...

"Clean small rooms in a well-kept hostel. The staff were great especially Oscar, who greeted us heartily each time he saw us. Complimentary breakfast was tasty and filling. You can't beat the price, especially when you can walk 5 minutes to the beach."
