"If I could give Gaia 10 stars, I would. The customer service is truly outstanding. We were a family of four, and after a 4-hour plane ride, a 2-hour customs line, and a 3½-hour drive from San José Airport, we arrived at the hotel completely exhausted. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and care. Friendly staff immediately took our luggage and transported us by golf cart to the lobby, where four fresh fruit drinks were waiting for us. I was introduced to my concierge,...

"We love this spot. Came here pre kid 15 ish years ago and returned with our 9 year old. There is a new building but the vibe is the same. Walkable uphill and downhill to restaurants but certainly stay and try the onsite at Sloth. The food was lovely. "

"Friendly and helpful staff, the rooms look new, recently renovated. There are little things that could make it even better, they didn't ask our opinion, but here they are :) The keys are the same, the big main door key didn't work and the receptionist said they are the same.. Also in the shower there was no shelf to put the soap or shampoo, and in the sink there was no plate for the soap. Also, some towels looked a bit stained. Maybe a staff member could regularly go around and check everything...

"The property is very quaint, the rooms are large and fit our family of 6 just fine. The staff is great, the pool is amazing, and the views of the beautiful trees and wildlife were top notch. Each day a family of macaws would fly over the hotel while we were eating breakfast, it was breathtakingly beautiful. I highly recommend this hotel. "

"We arrived to the hotel after dark, it was a little confusing finding it (wish there were a few more signs), but once we found it, we were very pleased! Staff was very friendly, room was super cute and very clean! The views were absolutely amazing!! We had the free breakfast and it was great. (There was coffee, juice, toast, eggs, plantains, sausage, cereal and fresh fruit) from what I remember…This was our 1st trip to Costa Rica, and we have already booked again to come back. We will be staying...

"Clean room with lots of space! The property is just beautiful and very well kept. The setting by a park with the hikes is a great added bonus. We saw parrots, toucans and monkeys around the property. The room was cleaned very well every day and the complimentary breakfasts are delicious!"
