"It’s a fantastic lodge in the middle of the kungör. The cabins are very rustic, but has electricity and a private bathroom. Wi-Fi in the public building. Good food, wine and beer in the restaurant. Nice tours in the jungle and fantastic personel. If you don’t expect a five star hotel, than you get a five star experience."

"Great host! Comfortable cabins in the middle of the rainforest. Beautiful trails right behind the rooms. The host is super friendly and has great knowledge. It is very small and private. Recommended a 4x4 for the street to location. "

"My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed La Finca Azul, and especially the family whose vision it is -- including Nacho, Oli, and Cece, the three dogs. I've stayed in agroturismos in Italy, and this was a very similar experience, complete with the fabulous food. I'm pretty sure Italy doesn't offer swimming by yourself in a mountain stream surrounded by the echoes of howler monkeys. "

"Jorge and family are very gracious hosts. I booked this place partly because I wanted to support family run business. As expected: the lodges are rather rustic: good plumbing - meaning toilet flushed fine, and shower runs, albeit I couldn't figure out how to get hot water out. "This was an inexpensive option for our family to stay in Sarapiqui. The property is interesting because of the covered pathways and proximity to two miles of rainforest trails, and we spied frogs, howler monkeys, iguana, caterpillars, etc. Breakfast was wonderful. "This is not a typical hotel or cabin stay. If you want luxury, keep looking. The food and accommodations are quite basic but serve the purpose. "OMG we loved this place. Best part of out 10 day trip that included Arenal and Manuel Antonio. Great early birding tour, and saw tanagers and kingbirds from our balcony. The cabins and walkways are of beautiful wood, nestled in trees and flowers. "

"Very nice property with stunning flora and fauna. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The included breakfast - fresh fruits, eggs, housemade toast and jam, rice and beans as well as a fresh coconut - was delicious, especially the coffee. I only stayed one night and had to leave early in the morning, wish I had more time here but plan to be back next time. "
