Kia Orana Joe. Sorry to hear you had such a different experience from so many of our happy guests. With the exception of asking me for a different mattress, none of the other issues you've mentioned were ever raised with Management. As I explained to you, we only have the same type of high quality commercial grade mattresses in every bungalow, so it was impossible for me to supply you with a different mattress. To be honest, we usually receive rave reviews about our mattresses, so your feedback is very out of the ordinary. I certainly did say I was very sorry to hear your back issues were bothering you, so I'm unsure how that translated to "no sympathy." Given that the same hot water is supplied to all of G10, I have no idea how the kitchen wouldn't have hot water when the bathroom does; I've just been over to that unit now and there is no issue with the hot water in the kitchen. Our Garden Studios at 285/night, not almost 400. Sounds like Palm Grove Resort was the wrong accommodation choice for you and we do hope you enjoy a better option next time. Cheers.

Kia Orana Donald. So lovely to hear you really enjoyed our location and our fabulous beach. But it's a shame our local wild chicken population had a negative effect on your stay. The wild chickens are part of the Rarotonga lifestyle and is certainly not something limited to Palm Grove. But we will take your suggestion to cull them under advisement. We are however sorry to hear you weren't satisfied with housekeeping, and it's a shame you did not bring any issues to our attention while you were inhouse, so we could have immediately addressed them for you. I have made housekeeping aware of your concerns. Please note we use a microfibre cleaning system that limits chemical usage in order to further our eco-friendly policies. Kia Orana Anonymous, Thanks for your feedback. We're pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay with us. As you haven't shared any information about yourself, I am unsure of your exact room category. However, having described it as a family unit, I am assuming it is one of our onsite houses. I'd like to let other readers know that all of our bungalows and houses, regardless of their original build date, have been completely refurbished in the last two years. This includes all new kitchens, bathrooms, interior repaint, all new furniture, beds, linens, curtains, etc. That being said, we are in the tropics and so insect life will be more prevalent than what you might be used to at home. Thank you for your feedback that you would recommend us to others. We do hope you'll consider staying with us again should your travels bring you back to Rarotonga in the future.
