Great Staff, But Property Needs Major Improvement
The front desk staff were absolutely wonderful—friendly, helpful, and quick to respond when we asked for clean sheets and extra towels (the ones provided were dirty). Their service was the highlight of our stay.
Unfortunately, the condition of the hotel was disappointing. The photos showed a hot tub, but there wasn’t one. The property is very worn down—chipped paint, a rotting bathroom door, and carpets that looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. The sliding glass door in our room didn’t close properly and left nearly a one-inch gap, which felt unsafe, especially since we were on the ground floor.
Only one key card was provided, and when we asked for a second, we were told there was a shortage. There was just one ice machine for the whole property, and it was located on the third floor at the opposite end of the building.
This hotel is pet-friendly, which is great, but that should come with a higher standard of cleanliness. We’ve stayed with this hotel chain before and had great experiences, but sadly, this location didn’t meet expectations. The staff were fantastic, but the property needs serious attention.
