"Fife and Drum is a wonderful place to stay in Williamsburg. The location is amazing because you can walk to the museums and restaurants. Check in and parking are very easy. The place itself is charming and they always have drinks and snacks available in their quaint dining area, as well as delicious breakfast options. We stayed in the Restoration room, which has somewhat odd decor, but on theme for the area. The only negative for me was the bed. The mattress was too hard for my back and it made...

"Easy to get to highway"

"Beautiful location but very disappointed with the clerk. My card was charged multiple times and he was extremely annoying at check in.. it was late and I was in no mood for his jokes… especially about charging me for ice, not signing etc… my card went through and then he said it didn’t and swiped again. I have 4 charges for 1 night. Other than that the room was great"

"The staff allowed us to drop our luggage off before check-in so we could go off to do other things and that was nice. The mattress was fairly comfortable and the air conditioning worked fine. Otherwise it was an unpleasant experience. The room was dark and dingy. The furnishings were worn out…the easy chair had stained fabric, the bed sheet had a hole in it, and the handle on the folding door to the bath was missing.
