"We are a family of 5 that does road trips and we stay at Hyatt Places because they are usually good bang for your buck. I would say the Hyatt Place in Uptown is on the lower end of our experiences. The elevators were broken, the a/c in our room didn’t work. The pool was closed even though it was 85 degrees out…friendly staff but that’s about all."

"My husband and I really liked the room we had. It was clean and very homey. However, the room got a little too warm at night. I had to kick covers off or get up and move around to cool off before getting back in bed. I understand the unit can't be turned down below 70 degrees or the cooling system will freeze, but installing some ceiling fans or floor fans would be very helpful. Other than that, Sonesta was a great place to stay."

"Speakeasy, hydration station, outdoor activities, the themed decor, and robes that were provided made our stay so much fun. the extra accommodations for our 5 year anniversary was very much appreciated. overall we adored the thought put into the establishment and foundation of the hotel.
