The property is bright and beautiful and can be a place to relax all day by the gorgeous pool, or explore the local villages and countryside. Matera is a 50 minute drive. Food here was great - all local produce cooked perfectly. We will be back!"

"Very nice room in a quiet, beautiful part of the countryside. Friendly host. Lots of sweet dogs on the property. Many need a bath and a little medical care, in my opinion, but they were a joy to see whenever we came and went. The wifi did not work in our room at all. Dining in the area is limited, but we did find a nice place for pizza nearby."

"I cannot rave enough about this hotel. It was an absolute dream. The property is just stunning. The room, built into limestone caves, was spacious and cool despite the 95 degree Italian summer heat. The bathroom was just beautiful (and great water pressure), the breakfast in the morning was exquisite with enough food to feed a family of 4 (it was only my boyfriend and I).
