"Good customer service (I had to extend my stay but change rooms, the cleaning staff moved by baggage between rooms for free). Overall clean and well maintained. The only warning I have is that the heat build up is pretty bad in the rooms and there is no air conditioning, just windows that you can open and a fan provided. I would recommend it for the cooler months but avoid it come mid June through September."

"Great place to stay in Central London - spacious and light, comfortable beds and easy to access. Our only issue was that we were there in the May 2026 ‘heatwave’ and it really was hot. A couple of pedestal fans would go a long way to helping with this at night. Luckily we were able to open all the windows and let some cooler air in eventually. Quite a noisy spot with all the 5am rubbish collections but earplugs were provided and we quite enjoyed hearing the city wake up around us."

"The highlight to this place is its location. Wonderful neighborhood with all the shops and restaurants you could want. The facilities were clean. The check in process was so-so. The major drawback was that the sofa bed was without hyperbole the worst bed I’ve ever ‘slept’ on. No exaggeration, the springs were digging into my skin so badly that I bruised."

"Great modern boutique hotel with beautiful design and features. Clean, smells brand new still and centrally located. Front desk staff was very friendly and staffed 24 hours. Bed was comfortable, blackout blinds effective, kitchen as described, and towels large and clean. My only complaint is that the so-called fitness centre is not really that at all. "It was in a great location. Close to everything the underground, coffee, pub. It was so clean!!!!!"

"Automated AI system to get in. It worked however if your phone dies you have no way to got in. Communitcation about our complaint that the room was unbelievably small and the building was unbearably hot resulted in AI automated responses and got no where. Although it was a hot day it made no sense why the room never cooled down. Room big enough for 1 person really. Double bed left hardly any floor space."

"Thr location of this hotel is fantastic. Steps from major attractions and the Underground. The extra space and a kitchen was very nice. We experienced a similar issue as others. No sheets or covers for the pullout bed. We spent almost an hour chatting with the host to find some only to be allowed to grab some from another room. We also had some issues with cleanliness. The drain in the shower was pulled out and full of hair. The dish rack was dirty, etc. Just made you question the...

"The staff were incredibly accommodating and helpful, I definitely recommend this spot. It’s super close to 2 stations and incredibly close to plenty of markets and restaurants! Blacklock is incredible!!"
