"Casper at the front desk greeted us and he was so kind and helpful in answering any questions we had or just having friendly conversation. The town was small and quiet as we arrived later in the day, but we got to enjoy the hot tub and sauna on the property which had stunning views. The lounge in the hotel was amazing as well, great place to hang out and drink our coffee on the nice couches surrounded by super cool decor. "Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön am Wasser gelegen. Wir hatten einen tollen Ausblick und ein großes Zimmer. Es war wirklich schön und wir haben uns wohlgefühlt. Wir haben im Restaurant auch Abendessen und Frühstück eingenommen und fanden das Amgebot jeweils sehr gut und lecker. Es gab vegane Optionen und alles war sehr gut. Die Atmosphäre war auch sehr angenehm. Das Servicepersonal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Hierfür auf jeden Fall ein großes Lob!"

"This place was ok for a one-night stay, but felt pretty cheap for a hotel that actually wasn’t that cheap. We got a room with a private bathroom and ate at their restaurant area since they have no shared kitchen space. The food wasn't good at all, but the staff was extremely friendly and let many people order food even though the kitchen was supposed to close. We decided not to stick around for breakfast since the dinner food was so mediocre, so I couldn’t comment on if it's worth the extra...

"Breakfast was great! I wouldn't recommend staying in one of the "cabins". Bathroom was too small to turn around in and the water was undrinkable. We haven't had that problem anywhere else with tap water in iceland. Went to the main hotel bathroom and filled my cup and it was fine."
