"The Sleep Inn in Düsseldorf was a pleasant surprise. Booked last minute, I didn't have high hopes, but it exceeded my expectations. It is not grand on the outside nor the lobby, but my room was completely renovated with a well-equipped kitchenette and new, clean bathroom. The lobby desk personnel and cleaning staff were very friendly and although I did not eat breakfast there, the food and custom coffees looked delicious. "We were pleasantly surprised with this room. It was small, but well kept with all the amenities we needed. It was secure although the window on our third floor room didn’t quite function properly. It would have been nice to have a fan in the room as it gets warm. There is no elevator and it is 5 rooms per floor. Watch your head as you go down as it has a low stairwell. It has nice modern decor. There was strong cigarette smell as we left in the morning, but none overnight. Wish they had...

"Stayed here with a couple of friends during the European Championships and they made our experience easy. Very friendly hosts, who helped us check in early when we arrived the morning of England’s group game in Frankfurt so a fair travel, but were extremely accommodating and meant we were able to get to the match early. Stayed here for the rest of the tournament and was a nice hub to travel to neighbouring cities. Thankyou!"

Totally worth staying there for that. if you get a room 9, 10, 11 or 12 you will be walking up 4 flights of stairs so ask for a lower floor if you do want to not do that. I had room 10, which was on the back and it was super quiet. In fact when I opened the window, the birds were singing in the morning, which was very cool. "
