"On finding out that the reason we were in Rhodes was to celebrate our son's birthday, the owner/staff treated him like a king, and us like royalty! The hotel itself looks out onto the medieval wall, and from the roof top terrace you could see all the way to the sea! The surroundings were quiet - even though we were within the old city walls. "Very good hotel. Decent food and close to the town and beach. My only complaint is we paid for 1/2 board (dinner and breakfast) and for breakfast we got full buffet and coffee/tea/juice/water etc. But for dinner we only got food and no drinks. I asked for water and they said no they only serve free water at breakfasts, not even free tap water even though it is safe to drink… so they make you pay €6 for a bottle of water with your meal if you want to drink. I’m not sure what the rules are in...
