"Good location. Beautiful pool. Nice breakfast. Rooftop terrace. Good room with cool bathroom and a bit of a view.
Only negative us that minibar was overpriced- even for a minibar!
Tip: if arriving by bus, don't follow GPS through old town. Just turn right on main drag which circles around and you will come to hotel which is across from cathedral (which is the 2nd church)."
"One if the cheaper hotels I stayed in so wasn't expecting much but it really surprised me! Great location. I had a room with 2 chairs on a balcony overlooking a square. There was also a terrace for everyone and you could take your breakfast there. Complimentary water (including sparkling) in room. Very nice staff - saw me walking around with a suitcase and came out to ask if I was looking for the hotel!"
"Great location and a clean tidy room with kitchen, balcony. Staff were helpful, spoke great English and were friendly. Very convenient location only a short walk to town and a grocery store two mins away.
Some of the emails I received were written just in French others in French and English.
My main grumble was about the AC- this was set at 24c, and not able to adjust. I spoke to reception who said it’s locked at this temperature and couldn’t be changed. My room was hot and not easy to sleep in.
I also had some scam messages via WhatsApp- I messaged the hotel to check if this was them- they responded very quickly and confirmed it was a scam- I was grateful for their quick response and reassurance.
Overall good value and nice staff."
"The hotel was super stylish with fantastic attention to detail. All the staff were so helpful but a special mention to the concierge/valet service guys who were excellent when we had a flat tyre.
Our superior room was beautiful and felt luxurious. We will definitely return."
"Good place to stay near the Nimes Arena. Overall it was a good stay. The room layout was a bit odd since the toilet was on one side of the room and the rest of the bathroom was on the other side. The only issue that I would say that may be worth noting is that unlike many other hotels in Europe, the windows did not block a lot of the sound from the outside."
Appart'hôtel Odalys City - Nîmes Arènes - Palais des Congrès
10/10 Excellent
"We were attending the Cure Concert in the arena. This was the perfect place to stay. Literally across the road from the entrance. Prices were high because of the concert, which we expected.
I had mailed the hotel regarding parking but had no response but after some of my own research I read that there was a small car park (6 spaces) which you accessed through automatic bollards and them beep through to the carpark. It was worth it as I think it would have been hard to work out otherwise.
We didn’t really use the facilities but had a cute little kitchen area and a big bathroom."
"Our stay was really great, having someone at the front desk to answer any questions we had it make it definitely more pleasant. The breakfast was delicious with a variety of options. The room is a bit small, but it’s perfect for one or two people to rest comfortably with the quietness and the gentle air conditioning in a comfortable bed. We definitely plan to come back!"
