Calme et sérénité

La Vieille Maison nous a accueillis pendant 5 nuits. Ce fut un séjour très agréable, entre autre grâce à la présence discrète mais prévenante de son propriétaire. La chambre du balcon est bien aménagée. Les productions artistiques disséminées un peu partout dans la Vieille Maison créent un cadre chaleureux. Le petit déjeuner copieux et varié est à lui seul un des attraits de ce lieu retiré mais si ouvert. Enfin, les Cévennes offrent un éventail infini de visites et d'excursions. Si vous souhaitez un havre de paix et de sérénité, n'hésitez pas à découvrir cette halte gardoise.

Hotel with alot of character

The hotel was a "mas" pronounced ma, an old stone house built in the 15th century. This hotel is great for people who like a little adventure, and are into the history of the region.

B&B i mysigt gammalt hus mitt ute i ingenstans. Värden lagar god och spännande mat som definitivt är värt priset. Det enda negativa var att sängen var lite obekväm.

Un cadre magnifique permettant de se ressourcer dans une ambiance détendue. Le patio est d'une beauté incroyable avec une decoration tres bien choisie qui donne tout son charme a la tombée de la nuit eclairée de mille bougies. La terasse a l'etage permet de profiter grace au transat du ciel etoilé. Le diner est egalement incroyablement bon de l'amuse bouche jusqu'au dessert. Le petit dejeuner est aussi tres bien avec les differents pains et confitureS, Yaourt maison, croissant... Une très beau lieu qui m'a fait oublié le matelas un tout petit peu mou a mon gout.

Cévennes : le pays du début du protestantisme en France avec les camisards. A visiter le musée du Désert dédié à cette période. La rencontre au gite d'une historienne belge étudiant cette religion et ses temples nous a incité à partir à la découverte du protestantisme et de ses temples nombreux dans la région. Un nouveau but dans nos vacances.
