"The room is clean, the motel is on the side of road and it is easy to find out. The staff is very friendly and helpful"

"The owners were very nice. The suite was very comfortable. A small continental breakfast was included and there were other amenities available. The location was fantastic. Only 15 minutes max from Hobbiton, which was the main reason we stayed in the area. View was beautiful."

"Amazing staff and facilities are currently being updated. The hot pools were a nice feature."

"Great sized room and bathroom. Very clean and well maintained. Staff are super friendly. Great stop over spot on a long trip home, close to town, fresh choice next door which is super handy. Will definitely stay again."

"Great place to stay"

"Clean nice spacious but I’d have to say quality accommodation is a bit of a stretch. Everything feels a little bit budget."

"Consider a trip to Okoroire Hotel you won't be disappointed. Hot Pools included in the price available 24 hours plus we got a free Continental breakfast. 9 hole Golf Course right by the Hotel. Good bar and deck and meals. We will be going again."

We didn't spend anytime outside so it wasn't an issue but I would recommend requesting a room in the middle of the complex if...

"Location was close to the football field for my son's tournament. Also easy to check in and out."

"Wish we had read the reviews. We probably wouldn't have booked. Definitely not value for money. No real amenities, not even a bar of soap in our ensuite room. No tv, pretty much a bed and towels. Water was lukewarm in shower and we were worried it was going to flood until hubby used his foot as a plunger for drain . Pub music only played till 11pm thank goodness."

"Perfect stay/location for our Football Tournament"

"Spacious, clean room with heating. Comfortable bed. Quiet and relatively close to the main town."
