"We were honestly shocked at how dirty the room was. Floors left our feet black with filth, and the sheets were "clean enough", yet had some hair and dirt flecks in them. The shower was good water pressure and heat, but the floor outside it had signs of water damage (squishy floorboards). Toilet seat was barely attached to toilet. We stayed in the mysterious room 10, which wasn't mentioned in the lobby signage, and we got in late so we had to call the emergency line to even find it. Turns...

"The property was well kept up and very clean. The hot tub and bicycles were fun. Breakfast was fantastic. I would highly recomend a stay here."

"Hotel and room are very charming, and the check-in/out process is very unique (no staff). The main draw back was that the only real amenity was the iced water jug, which was empty by 7:00 AM, and with no staff, there was no way to get it refilled. Loved the location, right in the middle of Silverton, which made dining and shopping convenient and enjoyable. Despite the water issue, it's definitely a very, very cool place to stay."

"The owners were super nice and the building had tons of character. I had to take away stars because the primary reasons I booked at this location was that the property information listed breakfast being included and laundry facilities as a convenience. The owner said they haven't provided breakfast in quite a long time and the laundry facility was a laundromat across the street."

"Amazing house , beautiful property . Walter , his wife and the rest of the staff ( Sonny and Fonzie ) were excellent hosts and very kind . One of the best places I've stayed at in the world! Wouldn't even consider any other spot next time I'm in Durango , CO."
