"2br cabin suited our stay, a little older than the one at another local park we stayed at. Kitchenette had 2 hotplates and a microwave but no oven - we used the one oven that was located in the Camp Kitchen. We loved the onsite mini-golf and the Shaws Bay location can't be beat. We would stay here again."

"The laundry facilities were convenient, and the sea breeze on the balcony was beautiful, unless the door remained open no sea breeze in the room. The pool was family-friendly and clean. "If you wanna go to byron area and not feel like ur confined or leaving broke from just staying somewhere value for everything, this is the best place for everything.....was impressed with the cabin felt very comfortable from bed, couch and just the space with all facilities in there. Even though i had double bunks in loungeroom and was staying by myself i actually found em to be useful sorting all gifts and stuff i took up there...."

Would be good if there were more stair openings from the carpark to the suites. Friendly staff! Beautifully kept grounds."

"The rooms were great. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable, staff were incredibly friendly and easy to talk to. The shower also had amazing pressure. I loved that the town centre was only a few streets away. We stayed at another hotel after Avlon Gardens with a higher star rating and Avlon put it to shame. I highly recommend Avlon to anyone travelling to Ballina."
