"Lovely hotel in the heart of the Savannah historic district. Pool is small but a nice amenity as most hotels in Savannah do not have one. Workout room adequate. Hotel rooms are clean and nicely appointed. Staff are very attentive and friendly."

"Excellent stay! Fantastic hotel. I feel my husband and I could be brand ambassadors to the Thompson hotels but we absolutely love the Savannah Thompson!!! Staff wonderful and on the ball, room upgrade upon check in, beautiful corner river view room. Complimentary cold beer upon check in. Tesla hotel car was again super bougie and convenient. We enjoyed the lobby bar drinks and food, numerous times, Restaurant Fleeting first night and Bar Julian, breakfast, late nite bite, and lunch twice! Room service Espresso all four mornings. GREAT staff!!! Oh and we ended up grabbing the free bikes when our flight was delayed for several hours and ran around the city super fun!!! Just a fantastic hotel and staff. Great experience!"

"Room was filthy! There was an air freshener because the room smelled like rotten eggs randomly. Had to switch rooms at 2a, didn’t fall asleep until 4, construction started at 7a sharp. Wash cloths thick with bleach and tub was dirty. Do not stay here only one elevator worked and overnight staff Ebony was the only saving grace helpful and knowledgeable. Manager is not available to speak to and being at this hotel was a nightmare. Do not stay here unless you like the bare minimum. "

"Staff was incredible! The location was perfection. Make sure to eat at the restaurant (lobster gnocchi was to die for) and visit the folks in the tavern for exceptional cocktails and fun chat. Our room was so beautiful, the soaking tub was lovely and the patio was a great place for coffee in the mornings and wine in the evening."

"I found several strands of hair under the toilet seat and in the bed, which was completely unacceptable given the amount of money I paid for the room. I immediately called the operator, and Erica informed me that she would send housekeeping to the room. Unfortunately, that never happened, and I had to go down to the front desk myself to address the issue. We were eventually moved to another room. The room should have been cleaned prior to our arrival. This was very disappointing. Additionally, one of the valet drivers hit another vehicle while bringing me my car—yes, my car was involved in an accident. While the staff was very apologetic and helpful in handling the situation, this was another issue that should not have occurred, especially considering the cost of staying at this establishment. I am now three hours away from home and will miss work because the car rental businesses are not open, creating an even more stressful and unexpected inconvenience. To make matters worse, we were celebrating my husband’s birthday, and this was certainly not the weekend we had planned. For the most part, the staff was friendly and helpful. Joe and Jesse, in particular, were extremely supportive while assisting with the vehicle situation. Joe even offered to drive me home, which I greatly appreciated. Their kindness and professionalism were the bright spots in an otherwise very disappointing experience."
