"We only stayed one night. We chose Posado Río Celeste La Amistad to swim in the blue Rio Celeste River on their property. This was the perfect place to get a $ 5 USD-a-piece ticket within walking distance of the hotel. It's family-owned, and they take such pride in their establishment. "The nicest people and wonderful hosts. I mentioned that we would be celebrating our daughter’s bday while we were there and they knocked on the door with a huge slice of chocolate cake and a candle and sang Feliz cumpleanos. It was the sweetest thing and so special for our family. It was such a kind gesture and it set the tone for the rest of our time there. Breakfast was a lovely production. We entered the dining room and they just started bringing out entree after entree, fruit, eggs, gallo...

"The location and property are absolutely beautiful! Incredible views! The grounds are kept meticulously! The rooms are clean and neat. The rooms are simple and yet elegant at the same time. The staff were very forgiving of my limited Spanish. A little harder to get to but worth the drive. The restaurant on property was excellent.
Just a small sidenote… There was no air conditioner in my smaller room. I knew this going into it and the nice breeze that was almost constant."
