First time to the area & so glad we picked this place! It’s a perfect landing spot to spent a day in Nelson and area OR head the other direction to the hot springs & quaint town of Kalso! And the ferry to experience the other side of the lake is right there in Balfour! Couldn’t have been better!"
"I love the Kaslo Hotel. It has incredible views - choose from mountain/street side or the lake (and mountains). You can't really lose. The restaurant is great and we ate there twice in 24 hours to try out their new breakfast service. Perfectly prepared both times. The gentleman at the front desk greeted us warmly and made us feel right at home. He also arranged for us the last reservation of the day for the big hot tub that you can book. We only had one night as we were coming through on a motorcycle road trip but will definitely be back."
