"A lovely quiet place perfect for a night away. Clean and comfortable. Great host, always there to help out. Just be aware that the hot tub is a paid extra, something that is not mentioned but that is not the hosts fault. They are unsure why that information is missing from the listing. Hotels.com were useless at trying to sort that out. But don't hesitate to book this place, just maybe drop them a message about using the hot tub first. "Having stayed at the hotel before it changed hands, we decided to return because of its convenient location close to the station. We’re so pleased we did! Our stay was just as enjoyable as before. The staff were all friendly, welcoming, and very helpful throughout our visit. The hotel was clean and well looked after, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The only slight downside for me was that I didn’t sleep particularly well because I prefer a firmer pillows. That’s purely a personal preference and certainly not a reflection on the hotel. We did also miss the pool table—it was a nice little extra that we remembered from previous stays! Thank you to all the staff for making our stay such a pleasant one. We look forward to visiting again."
