They had reached out to me days before my stay that there was going to be a train strike the day i was arriving and to be prepared. because of their warning I was able to rebook my train and make sure I got into Venice on the day I planned to. A very cheap supermarket in the alley next door. Room spacious and clean, hot water, great view to canal. Fridge and safe and bottle of bubbly in room.
