"Mikanos was an extremely friendly and engaging host. The breakfast was outstanding. The location is perfect i.e. about 2 minutes from the small town, not too quiet not too busy....goldilocks.

"Simply the most beautiful place, tucked away in the hills overlooking Rethymno. Ecofriendly and exquisitely refashioned from an old village. In-house restaurant was likewise awesome with a great selection of Cretan wines. "

"We stayed here for 7 nights and enjoyed every day. Beautiful views from balcony and private pool. It’s quiet and away from popular tourist traps. Had basic kitchen amenities so we were able to make breakfast and lunch. Everything was very clean and neat on arrival. The private pool was used every day and night, fantastic for a family with kids. Stelios and staff were so kind and very helpful. Parking available and a short drive to Rethymno. "Upon arrival we had a few issues with the property, but the owner sorted these for us straight away. The villa was amazing! Clean and bright with great outdoor space. The pool was perfect, as was the view. 'Martin' the visiting cat was a welcome guest! Highly recommend this place for a stay!"

Die Zimmer sind klein, aber mit Balkon und Kühlschrank. Das Bad ist nicht super modern, aber gut ´.
Der Hotelmanager ist super nett und sucht immer nach Lösungen. Ebenso der Zimmerservice ist super nett und reinigt das Zimmer jeden Tag gut.
Das Frühstück ist gut mit griechischem Salat, Joghurt, Brot und Wurst/Käse sowie Kaffee. Weitere Sachen können an der Bar bestellt werden.

"Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und die Ausstattung sehr modern mit Touchpads. Das Essen war abwechslungsreich und immer von Top Qualität. Das Personal war freundlich und aufmerksam. Es war ein traumhafter Urlaub. Nur die Umgebung ist reaktiv tot und der Bus fährt recht umständlich und lange in die nächste Stadt. Auch Restaurants oder ähnliches gibt es nicht der Umgebung. Neben dem Hotel ist aber ein Laden, wo man Lebensmittel, Getränke, Souvenirs, usw zu günstigen Preisen gibt. "

"This house was so adorable! We were running extremely late do to a change in our flight but the owner stayed up to greet us. She showed us around the village and where the stores were. Even offered to check on us if we needed it. The house itself was cozy and well kept. We had the pleasure of having a nice dog hang out outside our door. We did run into some issues back home that caused us to have to leave early. The owner was very kind and even offered us a deal so our money wasn't going to be...
